Summary:

To import Microsoft PowerPoint slides into Microsoft Works version 2.00, follow these steps:

  1. Select all or part of a slide in PowerPoint.
  2. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
  3. Open or activate a Works Word Processor or Spreadsheet document.
  4. From the Edit menu, choose Paste. The item becomes a single graphic.

To take editable text from PowerPoint into Works 2.00, follow these steps:

  1. Select the text box.
  2. Select all or part of the text.
  3. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
  4. Open or activate a Works Word Processor or Spreadsheet document.
  5. From the Edit menu, choose Paste. The text will be pasted as a graphic and can be edited only in Draw mode if it is taken into a Spreadsheet document.

More Information:

When transferring information via the Clipboard, the formatting associated with the text will not be transferred.
