Different Character Set in Versions 4.00 and 5.00/5.50

SUMMARY
The extended character set for a PostScript printer for Word version 4.00 is different from that of Word versions 5.00 and 5.50. You cannot use both the Word 4.00 and 5.00 or 5.50 POSTSCRP.INI files at the same time. If you do this, the Word 5.00 or 5.50 POSTSCRP.INI file will take priority.
For example, if you print from Word 4.00, then from Word 5.00, and then from Word 4.00 again, the first and second print jobs will print with the appropriate character set. However, when you print from Word 4.00 after printing from Word 5.00, your document is printed with the character set defined by the Word 5.00 POSTSCRP.INI file.
