SUMMARY
The Hewlett-Packard (HP) DeskJet has a built-in .25-inch left unprintable region that causes text to be shifted to the right. This problem can be demonstrated by printing from DOS; the left margin will be shifted .25 inches to the right.
This internal margin must be accounted for when setting margins within Word version 4.00; however, Word versions 5.00 and 5.50 account for the unprintable region.
