Importing Quattro EPS Files into Word

SUMMARY

Quattro EPS files print on a separate page and lose all corresponding document text that may surround the graphic.

This problem can be alleviated by deleting the end-of-file markers in the EPS file. To do this, use the following procedure:

  1. Load the EPS file into Word.
  2. Delete every occurrence of an end-of-file marker (a diamond in Word).
  3. After deleting these end-of-file markers, save the EPS files as Text-Only.

You should then be able to successfully import the file using the Library Link Graphics command, display it in Print Preview, and print it.
