Word: Not Accessing Softcraft Downloaded Fonts

SUMMARY
If you run the MERGEPRD utility to update Softcraft-generated printer drivers into Microsoft Word version 5.00 or 5.50 printer drivers, Word will download the Softcraft Laserfonts successfully but will fail to use them. The printout is in Courier and the chosen font is not accessed properly. However, if you run a font test on the printer, the fonts print properly, showing that they were downloaded.
Softcraft has an update (version 5.0) that generates a correct Word version 5.00 or 5.50 printer driver. This update can be obtained by calling Softcraft at (800) 351-0500.
