SUMMARY
When importing a graphic from the Microsoft Windows Clipboard, Microsoft Word version 5.0 may display the error message:
No bitmap found in Clipboard
even though viewing the Clipboard shows “bitmap” in the upper-left corner.
Windows does not allow Word to access the Clipboard if the .PIF file settings used to start Word are not set to allow graphics/text screen exchange.
To allow Word to access the Clipboard, change the settings for Program Switch and Screen Exchange to graphics/text in the WORD.PIF file.
