SUMMARY

When the ruler is on and with the mouse on the ruler, window splits can be made using the mouse by holding down the ALT key and then pressing the appropriate mouse button, as follows:

  1. ALT+left button splits the window.
  2. ALT+right button splits the window and clears the new window.
  3. ALT+both buttons closes the current window.
