SUMMARY

A line of text located near the bottom of a page may appear in show layout mode or in print preview display as if it will print on the page. However, the line does not print out when the page is printed.

This problem occurs because Print Preview will preview items placed at the edge of the page, but the printer may not be able to print at the edge of the paper. As a result, Print Preview may not accurately depict text as it is going to print on the page.

The unprintable region for a LaserJet is approximately 1/4 inch on all edges of the printed page. For more information, consult the printer manual for the LaserJet.
