The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

If part of the text under the list box is corrupted when you pull down a list box in a Microsoft Word version 4.00 dialog box, and you are using a color monitor, you probably have Background Fill turned on.

To correct the problem, do the following:

  1. From the Apple menu, choose Control Panel.
  2. Select the Kolor device (CDEV), and turn the Background Fill option off.
  3. Reboot your Macintosh.

Word 4.00 does not support the Background Fill option. This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a future release.
