SUMMARY

In Word version 4.00, the Library Autosort command with the “case:” field set to Yes may not work correctly with some versions of DOS.

The following is a list of the results that may occur when the Library Autosort “case:” field is set to Yes:

4.00 3.30 Same as “case:” set to No. (also OS/2 1.10) Sorts alphabetically but case is ignored.

4.00 4.00, 4.01 Order correct.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Word version 4.00. This problem was corrected in Word versions 5.00 and 5.50.
