Article ID: Q39787
Summary:
To assign styles to a report summary in Microsoft File version 2.00, do the following:
- From the Organize menu, choose Report.
- In the Report window, select the summary field or Grand summary field to format.
- From the Form menu, choose Format Summary Field.
- In the Format Summary Field dialog box, check the appropriate function and styles for this field.
- Click OK.
- From the Form menu, choose Set Font.
- In the Set Font dialog box, select the desired font and size.
- Click OK.
- For each field to format, repeat steps 2-8.
The styles selected can be viewed as shown when printed by clicking the Preview button from the Report dialog box.
In File versions 1.x, you cannot change the font or style of the Grand summary field. Items in this portion of the report will be printed in the default font for File, Geneva. However, a different font and style can be applied to the heading and field portions of the report.
