SUMMARY

To count the number of words in a Microsoft Works’ Word Processor document, do the following:

  1. Open the document for which you want to get a word count.
  2. From the Spell menu, choose Correct Spelling. Works will display a dialog box with the number of words and the number of errors in the document.

This procedure will not work on a selection of text within a document, only on the document as a whole.
