Summary:
If you want to put the value of a formula into a cell but do not want to put the formula in the cell, choose Value, enter the formula, press the F4 key, then press ENTER.
For example, if you want to put the value of 12 multiplied by 6 into a cell, but do not want to put the formula “126" into the cell, choose Value, type "126” (without the quotation marks), press the F4 key, and then press ENTER. The value of “72” will appear in the cell.
