SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the Project Data Service (PDS) method EnterpriseOutlineCodes, ResourceCodeValues, and ProjectCodeValues commands, the time to run the commands exponentially increases with the size of the outline code value list. This affects projects that use the EnterpriseOutlineCodes method and those that rely on the Edit Resource details and Edit Project Details pages in Project Web Access (PWA). This performance degradation becomes more noticeable as the number of outline codes begins to increase. For example, the Inetinfo.exe task may use a lot of processing cycles.
