SYMPTOMS
On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000, when you remove the indexing for the objectClass attribute in the Schema Manager, the index is not removed and you do not receive the corresponding event confirmation in the directory service event log in the event viewer.
Note The event that you do not receive is event ID 1184 or event ID 1185.
RESOLUTION
