SYMPTOMS

When the Track Changes feature is turned on in Microsoft Word 2002, and you delete text in your document and mark it as hidden, you may experience the following issues when you print a selection of text in your document that contains the hidden, deleted text:

  • The text that was deleted and marked as hidden is printed.
  • The bar that indicates the location of the revision in your document is not printed.

These issues do not occur if you print the whole document.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

This problem is corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3.
