SYMPTOMS

The Update.inf file that is included in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) contains a reference to an incorrect Microsoft Knowledge Base article number. The SP_KB_NUMBER entry in the [Strings] section of the Update.inf file of a service pack refers to a Knowledge Base article number that documents the fixes that are included in that service pack.
