SYMPTOMS

When you use the AutoShapes feature to add an autoshape in a Microsoft Word 2002 table, and then paste the table in a PowerPoint 2002 presentation, the autoshape that you created may not appear.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a limitation in the AutoShape feature when you move table cells.

RESOLUTION

Service Pack Information

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3.
