SYMPTOMS

If you are participating in an online data conference, the presentation material may not appear on your computer (for example, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word documents, or other documents). You have to leave the meeting and then re-join it to view the material.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
