SYMPTOMS
If you open a non-deliverable report (NDR) to read the report details in Outlook 2002, the message body of the NDR is blank.
If you try to open the same NDR in Microsoft Outlook 2000, the text in the message body appears as expected.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2000 use different internal processes to build and display the message body. This difference can result in blank NDRs that are generated by some message transports. This problem has been specifically reported for NDRs that are generated by the ACCPAC FaxServe Software, but may occur with other message transports.
To determine if you are experiencing this problem, use Outlook 2000 to open the NDR. If the message body of the NDR contains text when you open it in Outlook 2000, you must apply this fix to Outlook 2002.
