SYMPTOMS
An Internet Explorer client that requests data from the Windows CE 3.0 Add-On Pack implementation of HTTPD server may not receive the requested data from the server. For example, while a page may appear, some images in the document may not be delivered to the client. Because of this, incorrect images and page layout may occur.
CAUSE
A bug in the server may cause it to report that a file is not modified instead of delivering the requested file. This may occur although the file has not been cached by the client and the client has not requested "if-modified-since".
RESOLUTION
A supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows CE 3.0 Core OS QFE Q326941. To resolve this problem immediately, click the following article number for information about obtaining Windows CE Platform Builder and core operating system software updates:
