SYMPTOMS

When you change the first name or the last name of an existing contact by using the version of Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) that is included in Exchange 2000 Server, the changes appear as you expect.

However, if you use the new first name or new last name to search for that contact in OWA, no results are returned. When you search for the contact by using the previous name, OWA successfully locates the contact.
