Session Summary



During this Support WebCast, we will present an overview of XML for Analysis Services and discuss the goals of the XML for Analysis Provider. We will compare the fat and thin clients, and also review system requirements, installation, and configuration of data sources. We will provide a high-level overview of the architecture. This discussion will also examine security considerations and exposed data access methods.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded February 20, 2002 and presented by John Desch. John Desch joined Microsoft in 1997 as a Support Professional and has worked in Database Development support for four years. For the past one and one-half years, John has been involved in supporting Microsoft OLAP 7.0 and later.
