Session Summary



Microsoft Visual C++ .NET introduces a new technology to lower the risk of buffer overrun exploits. During this presentation, the team behind the creation and promotion of the /GS switch will provide the details about how it works. The discussion will include information about how to use the compiler injected security checks and what things to specifically avoid. The presenters will address common misconceptions and tell you exactly what the security checks can and cannot do.
