Session Summary



This session is an introduction to the Active Directory technology, a new feature in Windows 2000. Part One focuses on the following Active Directory subjects: overall concepts, implementation goals, implementation features, and structure.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded January 13, 2000 and presented by Ben Christenbury. Ben Christenbury is a support professional working in the Windows NT Support group. Before coming to Microsoft, he worked in the industry as a programmer, database administrator, and systems administrator. Ben has an extensive background in investigating performance issues in both databases and operating systems. He is a Microsoft Certified Engineer.
