Session Summary



The Office 2000 SR-1 update is a planned service release that provides Office 2000 users the latest product updates to Office 2000. The key updates in the Office 2000 SR-1 update are application updates and updated system level components. Microsoft recommends Office 2000 users update to Office 2000 SR-1 for optimal benefits. This discussion will cover several ways to update your installation to SR-1.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded April 21, 2000 and presented by Greg Mansius and Emmers Presson. Greg has been at Microsoft for five and one-half years. He has supported Excel and Office for the entire time. As a Support Professional, he has worn many hats: Site Lead for Office for the Macintosh, Site Lead for Excel for the Macintosh, Escalation Lead, Content Lead, and author of over 700 Knowledge Base articles. Most recently, Greg spent five months in Redmond working on the Office 2000 Beta project focusing on setup and deployment.
