Session Summary

When developers create Web-based applications to provide rich functionality, they often use ActiveX controls and active documents. Although there is benefit from using compiled code on a Web page, deploying the components can be very problematic. In this session, we will discuss the process that Internet Explorer goes through to download code. We will also talk about tips to help you avoid problems and tell you how to debug these types of problems, if they do occur

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded April 25, 2000 and presented by Joshua Lee. Joshua joined Microsoft in 1998 with Developer Support Internet Client Team. He is the code download specialist and supports developers who are creating applications with Internet Explorer. He holds a Microsoft Certified Professional + Site Building certification.
