Session Summary



In this session, you will learn the about the various components and details that Systems Management Server 2.0 uses when distributing software to client computers. You will learn the components, the process flow, and how the various files are moved throughout the Systems Management Server infrastructure. Information on how to troubleshooting software distribution will also be provided.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded October 10, 2000 and presented by Wally Mead. Wally joined Microsoft almost eight years ago in the training group. He now works for Product Support Services, developing and delivering training focused on SMS 2.0 to the Support Professionals. During his time at Microsoft, Wally has developed training materials for all versions of SMS.
