Session Summary
In this session, we will cover some of the basics of Internet connectivity and hosting in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, focusing on the SMTP protocol. Topics will include sending and receiving Internet mail, choosing an ISP, DNS, top issues, domain hosting, and security concerns.
This is a Level 200 session that was recorded January 18, 2001 and presented by Scott Landry. Scott Landry joined Microsoft in July 1999, after graduating from the University of South Carolina. Scott attended the Product Support Services training academy and joined the Business Applications support team. He currently supports Exchange connectors and messaging transports.
