Session Summary
During this session, we will introduce the new file system technologies that are supported in Microsoft Windows 2000. We will also discuss features like mount points, disk quotas, pre-parse points, and sparse file support.
This is a Level 200 session that was recorded April 19, 2001 and presented by Salim Shaker, PE, MCSE. Salim Shaker joined Microsoft in 1998 as a support professional for Windows NT 4.0. He moved to support Windows 2000 Server and is currently preparing to support the upcoming release of Windows XP. He has a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, is a certified Professional Engineer, and an MCSE.
