This presentation is designed for those who are responsible for the setup and configuration of DNS in a Small Business Server environment. The topics will include general terms and concepts related to DNS, the function of DNS and how it relates to Active Directory, how DNS is configured both during the setup of SBS 2000 and after its installation, and common troubleshooting tools.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded October 16, 2001 and presented by Frank Brown. Frank Brown has been with Microsoft for one and one-half years, serving in both the Networking and Small Business Server teams. He has over 10 years experience in the computer industry as a computer instructor, network administrator, and network engineer. Among his certifications are Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Novell Engineer, and Certified Cisco Network Associate.
