Session Summary
In this Support WebCast, we are going to discuss the how to prepare your network to roll out Microsoft Windows XP Professional in a corporate or small business environment. We will cover concepts such as basic network preparedness, determining hardware compatibility, preparing name resolution, Active Directory concerns, product activation, and Remote Installation Services (RIS).
This is a Level 200 session that was recorded January 17, 2002 and presented by David Williams Dixon. Dave Dixon joined Microsoft in March of 1999 as a Support Professional for Windows 98 Second Edition. He currently works in Professional Platform Support on the Networking team, supporting Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP.
