SYMPTOMS
A 16-bit bitmap may display colors that are not correct. This problem can be demonstrated by setting the standard shell desktop image to a 16-bit bitmap.

Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To perform a clean build of the operating system, follow these steps:
- On the Build menu, click Clean.
- On the Build menu, click Build Platform.
You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
