SYMPTOMS
When you download a file by using Microsoft Internet Explorer for Microsoft Windows CE .NET 5.5, the download window may indicate "100% progress," but the operation is never completed. If you cancel the operation the download file is not saved in the destination directory.
CAUSE
When you download the file, the file is first saved to the Internet Explorer cache. The file is then copied to the destination directory. This requires sufficient file system storage to hold two copies of the file. If sufficient file system storage is not available, the problem that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section occurs.

Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To perform a clean build of the operating system, follow these steps:
- On the Build menu, click Clean.
- On the Build menu, click Build Platform.
You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
