SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Windows Media Player, the following problems may occur with the volume control:
- When you move the volume slider by using the mouse or by using touch input, the volume does not change in proportion to the volume slider position.
- When you release the volume slider by using the mouse or by using touch input, the volume slider jumps to a different position. After releasing the volume slider with the mouse or touch input, the slider jumps to a different position.
- When you use the keyboard to change the volume, the volume is multiplied by 2 or is divided by 2 instead of gradually changing.

Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu.
