XFOR: The Custom Schedule for the Exchange 2000 to Notes Directory Synchronization Process May Stop Working

SYMPTOMS

If you customize the schedule of the Exchange 2000 to Lotus Notes directory synchronization process (for example, if you set directory synchronization to occur every 15 minutes between 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.), the process may stop updating.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

NOTE: Because of file dependencies, this update requires Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the Full Reload button or the Immediate Update button; these buttons continue to operate correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
