Subfolders of a Web Folder Are Not Enumerated in the Folders Pane in Windows XP

SYMPTOMS

When you are view Web folders in Windows Explorer, subfolders of a Web folder may not be displayed in the Folders pane. However, the subfolders are still displayed properly in the Explorer pane. When you view the subfolders in the Explorer pane, they are added to the Folders pane.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows XP Service Pack 1.
