SYMPTOMS
When you try to download a file from an HTTP server by using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows CE, Internet Explorer may appear to stop responding (hang) during the download process. This symptom occurs when the free-storage memory is less than two times the size of the file you are downloading.
CAUSE
When you download a file from a Web server, the file is downloaded to the Internet Explorer cache. The file is then copied from the cache to the folder that you select. The downloaded file is then deleted from the cache. During this process, two times the file size in free storage memory is required.
RESOLUTION
