SYMPTOMS
When you use Collaboration Data Objects for Exchange 2000 (CDOEX) to reply to an e-mail message, if you use the cdoSendUsingExchange enumeration and set the importance flag, the setting in the urn:schemas:httpmail:importance field is not applied to the outgoing message. The result is that the importance flag is not set on the outgoing message.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
