SYMPTOMS
During the rapid transmission of data, your Windows 2000-based computer may generate a bugcheck in the Tcpip.sys file. Note that this rare problem has only been reported to occur with Gigabit Ethernet, and is not likely to occur with standard 10/100 Mb network adapters.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
