SYMPTOMS
You may not be able to use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to send mail to a recipient with an SMTP address that includes a text string that is enclosed in quotation marks (for example, "test"@microsoft.com). OWA does not recognize the address as a valid address.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
