SYMPTOMS

When you are updating the rules in a large number of IP security policies, the IP Security Policy Management snap-in in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) may stop responding (hang) and generate an access violation error message.

CAUSE

This problem is caused by a code defect.

RESOLUTION

STATUS
