SYMPTOMS
Printer clients may not be able to delete the Splxx
.tmp temporary file in the %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Printers folder. When this occurs, you receive an "Access denied" error message. This problem occurs if you log on to the local computer as a member of the Users group instead of as a member of the Administrators group.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Spooler service creates the temporary file with the System account, but tries to delete the file by impersonating the user who prints the document.
