SYMPTOMS

When you try to print a project in Microsoft Picture It! that has photos or text boxes, you may receive an error message that is similar to one of the following:

A problem occurred after you dismissed the task. Some changes might not have been made.

There might not be enough memory to complete this operation, or another problem might exist. Please save your work, restart this program and try again.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if any of the following conditions exist:

  • The text box or image extends into the unprintable area.
  • The printer driver is outdated.
  • The project is too big for the printer to handle.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method. If you are not sure what is causing the issue, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented.

If your printer driver supports resizing the information to be printed to fit the page, click Fit to Page in the Print dialog box.
