SYMPTOMS
When you monitor the server status for available virtual memory in Exchange System Manager, you may receive incorrect warning and critical error messages. The status page may display the wrong error or warning status and may send notifications if configured to do so, even when the available virtual memory is greater than the warning or critical levels that are set.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
