SYMPTOMS

When you change the WebProxyPort setting on Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 from the default TCP port of 8080 to another port, the change is not dynamically written to the Mspclnt.ini file.

RESOLUTION

This problem was corrected in Internet Security and Acceleration Server Service Pack 1.

To work around this issue, manually edit the Msplnt.ini file to change the WebProxyPort setting.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
