SUMMARY
You can configure a system policy to set the path to load the workgroup templates (also known as shared templates) for Office XP programs.
Whenever a new document is created in an Office program, that document is based on one or more document templates. Each program has its own location for storing local templates. By default, no location is configured for workgroup templates, those that are shared by multiple users.
Although you can set a workgroup template location by using the Options command (on the Tools menu) in a particular Office program, you can more easily set this location for groups of users by configuring a system policy.
