SYMPTOMS
If you place a DBCombo control on a modal form, the DBCombo control may not respond to mouse actions. This problem was previously documented for Visual Basic 4.0. For additional information, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

However, this problem recurs in Visual Basic 6.0.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
