SUMMARY
SNA Server and Host Integration Server 2000 clients display pop- up error dialog boxes when SnaBase detects various errors. For example, if SnaBase cannot open a sponsor connection to a Host Integration Server 2000 server, the following pop-up error dialog box appears:
These SnaBase error dialog boxes cannot be suppressed on SNA Server and Host Integration Server 2000 clients. To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Host Integration Server 2000. - Start Registry Editor.
- Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/SnaBase/Parameters
- On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: Quiet
Data type: REG_SZ
Value data: YESIf you do not add this key before you initialize SnaBase for the first time on a Host Integration Server 2000 End-User client, you must add the key to the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/SnaBase/Parameters
- Quit Registry Editor.
SNA Server 4.0 Client for Windows NT
- Start Registry Editor.
- Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
