SYMPTOMS

In Outlook, after you send out a request for a recurring appointment and an attendee accepts the request, when you change the subject, location, and text body of one particular instance of the meeting, and you then send out that update, the attendee's response does not contain the updated meeting information.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.

MORE INFORMATION

Although the response that you receive seems to indicate that the attendee does not have a copy of the updated meeting information, the attendee does actually receive the most current data.
